These people do not love animals: they are all about capitalizing on your pet's suffering.
I went there for an emergency with my senior bulldog. I waited in a room for over an hour while my dog was suffering /vomiting and he collapsed and aspirated. I ran out to ask for help, and a few minutes later a vet opens the door and begins asking a few questions. She did not touch my dog and never left the doorway. After about one minute she left. Then the receptionist came in with an estimate of almost $1400, including a $679 charge for xrays. I said can't we have an exam first? I was told I could not be present during the exam because they needed a "controlled environment." ... I am here with my dog in distress and you have not even taken his temp! At this point I would not even want them to touch my dog. I said I am going to another vet, you people obviously do not care about animals. It's all about the money. So I tried to leave and was told I had to pay $65 for an "office visit." I said, no thank you. Then they threatened to call the police and I said go ahead. It seems that their real business is taking advantage of people in distress through overcharging for their services with no care and concern for the life of your beloved pet.

I will NEVER return to this horrible office again! I sat in an exam room for 2 hours after being told that there was only 1 patient ahead of me. After 2 hours of waiting I finally decided to leave. I wanted to ask the doctor a simple question about parasites before I left. I was told by the receptionist that the doctor would not even show me the common courtesy to speak to me AT ALL unless I went back up to the front & paid a $65 visit fee in advance. On my way out I stopped at the front desk & asked the vet technician the question. The doctor came through the lobby door & told me to leave. Are you kidding? So I sat there with my cat, stressed out in a carrier, freezing in the exam room, waiting for 2 hours, to then be told that they couldn't give me a minute of their time to answer a question unless I was willing to pay $65. What a nice way to be treated, especially after spending $450 at their clinic over the last month. I got my answer elsewhere, without being charged for asking the question.

Do not ever use this place! Cannot stress this enough, all they care about is the money and that is evident after going there. Our 8 year old pom was in distress while trying to deliver 2 pups, they almost killed her! They should not even be in business. They popped her amniotic sacks which caused the babies to die inside of her and then wanted 4400. to do a c section to remove them before she went septic and this was on top of the 735 dollars we already paid them to do ex rays! They did not inform us they was going to pop her sack, knowing full well what the outcome would be and they was not prepared to save her or the puppies. we went in at 430 pm...Poor thing was in pain and we picked her up at 830 pm because they lied and changed their price. (when arrived they showed us a pricing that was max 2800. for testing and c section if needed, told us to go for supper and they would call us) we paid them 1067. to basically do nothing besides try to kill her and her puppies and then had enough nerve to say on our way out..."Call us tomorrow if you want us to euthanize her!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!!!!!!!! They care absolutely NOTHING about your pet! Fortunate for us we found an awesome, compassionate vet hospital in Trenton. They took us in the next morning and not only saved her life but spayed her at the same time as well as removing her poor dead babies) Thank you Dr. Hester and his wonderful staff for saving out little Lacey at Trenton Animal Hospital. They only charged us 582 dollars and she received the best care possible. Our only regret was taking her to Urgent Pet Vets in Crystal River to begin with. If you care about your fur babies, just remember, THEY DO NOT!!! ITS ONLY ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY, DO NOT TRUST THEM!
